Cross-recovery

This article describes which metadata can be restored between GitHub Enterprise and other Git providers.

Cross-recovery enables restoring repositories, metadata, and configurations to a GitHub environment or another supported Git platform, ensuring business continuity and flexible disaster recovery scenarios.

Available Git platforms

In general, Xopero ONE allows you to restore data across all supported DevOps platforms. Different vendors provide various types of metadata, which may not be common to all providers. As a result, during the restore process, some metadata might not be available for restoration.

The table below outlines protected GitHub Enterprise metadata and where it can be restored.
