#### Xopero ONE gives you additional options for backup and emergency recovery within your VMware environment.

***

## A copy of virtual machines

When creating a backup plan for a **VMware** environment, you can create a backup of:

1. All machines from the **ESXi** host.
2. Selected machines from **vSphere**.

***

## VM migration between VMware environments

After creating a proper backup of virtual machines, you can use **Xopero ONE** to migrate them between **VMware** environments added to the management console. Once the backup is complete, use the restore function to transfer the virtual machines directly to another **VMware** environment.

***

## Emergency recovery based on instant restore

When you need to quickly run a VM directly from a backup, **use instant restore based on iSCSI method**. This allows you to rapidly create a virtual machine by sharing the backed-up data from storage via **iSCSI**.

***

## Restoring a VM to a physical device

To restore a virtual machine to a physical host, first install the **Xopero ONE agent** on the VM and **perform an image-level backup, treating it as a physical device**. Once the backup is successfully created, you can start the **BMR** restore process.

***

## Creating a backup of independent disks

Independent disks are excluded from snapshots created by the hypervisor. To back up these disks, install an agent directly within the virtual machine’s guest operating system and configure a file-level or image-level backup. More information is available in the article below.
