# Prerequisites

### To use Xopero ONE to back up your data, make sure you have:

* [x] Access to **Xopero ONE Management Service** (**XMS**).
* [x] All required tools installed and up to date.
* [x] Valid and active **Xopero** license.

### Once you meet the prerequisites:

1. Configure user accounts or integrate them with IdP.
2. Add resources to protect.
3. Add data storage.
4. Configure your first backup plan.
5. Configure the replication task. 
6. Configure a test recovery plan. 
7. Set up your backup notifications.
8. Test the recovery process.
9. Enjoy your day while **Xopero ONE** protects your data!
