To create a new backup plan open the Plans tab and click the (+) Add Plan button in the top bar. After that, the system will display a new panel. Enter a name for the plan.
Backup type
Define the name of a backup plan and set the Backup type section to GitLab Groups.
Select the groups from GitLab you want to protect with GitProtect by clicking on the Groups section. The window for selecting the groups to be protected will appear. You can select individually or all by using the Protect all button.
Data to protect
In this plan, information about groups and subgroups is backed up by default. You can select other metadata using switches.
Here you can also change the Worker - is a device that is directly responsible for the backup process of your repositories. You can have many workers and use different workers for each backup plan. It is worth to know, that Cloud Worker ( cloud-installed GitProtect worker) allows you to perform Cloud-to-cloud backup, in case if you want to store your backups in the Cloud.
