Recover Of A Multiple Repository To Git Service Or Xopero ONE Agent
In this article, you will get information on how to restore multiple repository to git service or localhost.
Get into restore view
Open the GitHub tab and then click on the Recover button next to the organization that you want to restore the backup.
In the next step select by checkbox the multiple repositories that you want to restore and click the Restore selected button available on the top action menu.
Select the backup plan and version
By clicking on individual repositories, a window will appear, where you will be able to select a plan and a backup version to restore.
Then select an existing organization or local device as your recovery destination.

Edit button gives you the possibility to select one of the assigned organizations of any Git service or any device.

You can use the switches to turn on and off the available options like adding label to the restored element.
By restoring repos with custom name you can rename the restored repositories. A window will appear where you can rename one or more repos.
To don't overwrite existing repo in the organization use switch Add suffix to repo name. If you do not change the repository name, the restored repository will have its original name with an automatically generated suffix.
Before the last option is to reduce your internet bandwidth during the recovery process.
The last is to define the maximum number of concurrent restore tasks.
If you have successfully configured everything, you can press the Start now button to start the restore process.
Restore to local device

To restore the repositories to the localhost - any device - select the Device option, and next the destination device.
To restore the repositories to the local device you have to have local Git client installed on this device.
You can resotore only repository (without metadata), if you restore the data to the local resources!

Make sure, that the device, to which you want to restore data to has Xopero ONE Agent installed and the Git client is added to the Path environment variable.
The Path variable should be configured automatically after the Git installation (system restart may be required), but if it isn't, set it as the path to the git.exe file:
To configure the Path variable, go to the environment variables, select the Path variable and hit the Edit button. Now copy the git.exe file path and paste it to the Path variable.
