Plan you Hyper-V backup
Using Xopero ONE you can protect hyper-V enviroments. Both native support for backup of virtual machines inside, as well as file-level and image-level backup of the physical hyper-V host.
Overview
See the article below for general rules for creating effective backup plans. But multi-environment backups have their own specific options.

General suggestions
Hyper-V host performance will be a key aspect. Performance dictates how many virtual machines you can secure at the same time.
You can create a backup for all machines on the host and automatically protect machines you create in the future. In the backup plan, in the Advanced settings section in the Task balancing tab, you can select the number of virtual machines to be backed up at the same time. You can also do backup individually with a break in between.
When securing virtual machines, the Xopero ONE software uses the RCT (Replica Change Tracking) function to calculate differences in virtual machine disk blocks. Thanks to this, you can perform a backup much faster. You can also use the classic, slower method.

Backup of hyper-V virtual machines is based on system snapshots. Various levels of support are possible, we always strive for Application aware snapshots that are the most consistent.
Hyper-V under the "Application aware" option also includes File-system consistant snapshot. Therefore, it is worth having the "Application aware" option enabled for various Linux distributions.
More on this topic and detailed information about Linux distributions supported by Hyper-V can be found on the official Microsoft websites.
