Updating Management Service Running On Synology NAS
To update the Management Center installed in Docker on Synology NAS, you need to install the new version with old databases mounted.
The update process is not automated. To apply an update, the existing container based on a specific image must be removed after that a new container have to be create using the newest version of image. However, since the databases are mounted externally, this procedure remains straightforward.
First remove current container, in the Container tab mark current container and expand Action list. Stop container and Delete.
Then follow the installation instructions precisely, ensuring that all steps are executed as outlined.
