Xopero ONE components

Xopero ONE product as a platform consists of three main components:

Management Service

The main component that is required to run Xopero ONE system. It allows you to comprehensively manage the Xopero ONE system. In the On-Premise version, it can be installed on almost any computer with Windows, Linux, and even popular NAS devices. In the SaaS version, this service works within the provider's cloud infrastructure. Management is divided into several modules, they are:

  1. Device list

  2. VMware

  3. Microsoft 365

  4. DevOps

  5. Plans

  6. Datastore

  7. Tasks

  8. Application logs

  9. Password Manager

  10. Xopero ONE Setting module

Each of the modules has been described in separate manuals.

Web Panel

The application is a graphical user interface, allowing for comprehensive system management and monitoring of the correctness of the backups. It is intended for software administrators.

Agent Service

Application installed on end devices with Windows, Linux or macOS. The Agent performs all operations ordered by the Management service, incl. data processing before shipment (encryption, compression), connecting to the datastorage, sending data directly to the datastorage and restoring.


Backup storage location. Xopero ONE is a multi-storage system. This means that it allows storing data in the cloud (GitProtect Cloud, AWS, and any S3 compatible public cloud - Google Cloud Storage, Wasabi, Backblaze B2, etc.), locally (SMB network shares, local disk resources) or for a hybrid environment.
