Setting Up A Backup Plan

This article contains information, on how to set up a GitLab repository backup plan

Backup plan creation

To create a new backup plan open the Plans tab and click the Add Plan button in the top bar. After that, the system will display a new panel. Enter a name for the plan.

Backup type

Define the name of a backup plan and set the Backup type section to GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket

Repositories

In this section select the GitLab environment that you want to include in the backup process, and select the repositories to backup. Optionally, Xopero ONE allows you to protect the whole GitLab environment.

Data to protect

Xopero ONE gives you an opportunity to select the appropriate metadata, which you are interested to backup.

Here you can also change the Worker - is a device that is directly responsible for the backup process of your repositories. You can have many workers and use different workers for each backup plan. It is worth to know, that Cloud Worker ( cloud-installed Xopero ONE agent) allows you to perform Cloud-to-cloud backup, in case if you want to store your backups in the Cloud. Backup storage

In this part, select one of the locations assigned to your Xopero ONE as storage.
