In general, if you protect Microsoft 365 and other components (such as physical devices or virtualization) you don't need to install any other backup agent, because you can use one of already installed Xopero ONE agent to perform backup tasks.

Otherwise, if you protect only Microsoft 365 environment using on-premise deployed management service, you need to install Xopero ONE agent. The agent should have connectivity with the management service and storage. It will let you to perform backup tasks. You don't need to buy license for this device. Use "feature worker" license.

If you use cloud-hosted management service (SaaS) you can use cloud-worker. This agent is automatically added to your management service during initialization.
