Adding Microsoft 365 Tenant To Xopero ONE

Xopero ONE allows to backup Microsoft 365 organization data including mailboxes, contacts, calendars and OneDrive, but before protecting those resources it is required to register Xopero One in Azure Active Directory platform. This article describes how to manage and work with your organization in Xopero ONE.

Advanced settings

Before adding Microsoft 365 tenant advanced settings should be configured.

To open advanced settings, click Add Organization button available on Microsoft 365 tab, which will display another section, that will guide you through the next steps.

Advanced settings are available on bottom section of opened window.

Hit Advanced configuration button.

Application Name

Name that is used to register Xopero One application in Azure Active Directory admin center of Microsoft 365 organization, which you can set by yourself.

License management

This section contains a switch, which allows you to decide whether you want to assign Xopero ONE license automatically to Microsoft 365 organization users or do it manually after adding new organization.

Default setting is an automatic option and it sets protection for.

Default device

Default device is the device assigned to Xopero ONE that will be used to retrieve Microsoft 365 organization accounts and their data. It will also perform the backup plan itself.

By default application uses device marked with Main icon, but you can choose, which device should be responsible for performing this operation by clicking Edit button and selecting one of the devices from the list.

User sync interval

It is the time interval that application sends requests to gather all the actual information about users in Microsoft 365 organization, which you can also set based on your needs and changes in your organization.

Adding Microsoft 365 tenant to Xopero ONE

Click Add organization button available on Microsoft 365 tab, which will display another section, that will guide you through the next steps.

Copy the code and hit Log in to Microsoft 365 button.

Paste the code in opened window and hit the Next button.

Paste e-mail adress of your tenant nad hit the Next button.

Fill the field with the password and hit Sign in button.

Hit the Continue button.

Hit the Continue button and go back into management service.

Now wait for ending configuration process.

After this process adding your Microsoft 365 tenant to Xopero ONE is finished.
