Task balancing allows you to control the number of virtual machines that are backed up at one time. Running a backup task for too many VMs at one time can cause significant network overload. In general, task balancing is enabled by default in the case of VMware. The maximum amount of backup VM's at one time is 5, but you can also decrease the number of Virtual Machines backed up at one time. You can also enable task balancing based on time - in that case, all the tasks will start automatically with configured breaks between them.

Task balancing tool is available in Scheduler, and Advanced Settings, while creating a backup plan.
